The appellant Aloyce Mgovano was charged, convicted and
sentenced to life imprisonment for raping a girl aged 6 years by the District
Court of Iringa at Iringa. Dissatisfied with the finding and sentence of the
trial court, he unsuccessfully appealed to the High Court of Tanzania sitting
at Iringa. Still aggrieved he has preferred this appeal in this Court. |
