Yassini Rashidi(App) Vs Republic(Res)This is the second appeal. The appellant, YASSINI slo RASHID@ MAIGE and six other persons, were charged before the District Court of Urambo at Urambo with the offence of armed robbery clss 285 and 286 of the Penal Code, Cap. 16, R.E. 2002. At the conclusion of the trial, the appellant and another person were found guilty, convicted and each was sentenced to serve a term of thirty years imprisonment with twelve strokes of the cane.
