AHMED SHILLA MKUMBO(App) Vs THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC PROSECUTIONS(Res)The appellant Ahmed Shilla Mkumbo was arraigned before the Regional Court for Zanzibar at Vuga for the offence of unlawful possession of fire arms and ammunitions contrary to sections 4 (1) and 34 (2) of the Arms and Ammunition Act, No.2 of 1991 of the laws of Tanzania. He was sentenced to ten years imprisonment. Upon appeal to the High Court his conviction was sustained.
