GABRIEL SIMON MNYELE (hereinafter "the appellant'') was charged with the offence of manslaughter, contrary to section 195 of the Penal Code (Cap 16-RE 2002) before the High Court of Tanzania, at Dar es Salaam. It was alleged that, on or about the io" November 2003, at Hugo House, Kinondoni District, Dar es Salaam Region, he unlawfully killed one PAMELA NGUNYALI "(the deceased'') who was his wife.
