Entrepreneurship is one of the most important underlined theories and methodology
in the science world of business management and economics; and it has helped many
countries to be well developed in a variety of areas. This study in exclusively
intended to assess the entrepreneurship education on business graduate‘ intent to self
employment dwelt in higher learning institutions in Dar-es-Salaam. The investigation
is based on Survey context in which the methodological approaches of sampling
technique deploy the purposive method. The method seems deem fit the study since
it allowed the convenience sample size of sixty seven (67) respondents from business
students from five universities.
Apart from that, the study has deployed two major data collection methods namely;
Questionnaire and Interview to collect the primary data. Furthermore, data were
analysed by means of descriptive analysis. Findings in this study reveals that
respondents have characteristics of entrepreneurship, possessing entrepreneurial
knowledge, have the intensions to start business in the near future; furthermore the
respondents are motivated and influenced for self employment however the study
revealed that the government does not support entrepreneurship policies.
