dc.description The study was about the impact of supply chain management in the organization performance where Tanzania Breweries Limited in Dar es Salaam was a case study. Objectives of the study were: to assess the effect of environmental uncertainty to supply chain management with performance, to examine the extent to which Information Technology improve Supply Chain Management, to assess the effectiveness of SC relationship in organizational performance, to determine the impact of value added to the Organizational performance. The study was significance to stake holder, Government and the researcher. It covered various limitations such as the shortage of research time compared to extensiveness of activities that needed to be undertaken in order to ensure coverage of sufficient number of respondents, lack logistical and human resources to support data collection as part of the study, lacked resources face the researcher and hence cause interruptions, reaction from the respondent was reluctant to answer the question being asked, In accessibility to some information, some of the organizational information was not easily accessed due to the fact that that information is treated as confidential. Various literature reviewed about the study has been reviewed to understand what others have written about the impact of supply chain management on organizational performance. Data collected through the use of interview questionnaires and the sample size was 54 staff and the data was analyzed by using the tables and the histogram chat. Findings show that the supply chain management effectively brings the organization performance lean production, new technology and innovation, strategic supplier partnership and postponement concept. The study recommends that in order for the SCM improve performance the following must be undertaken by the policy makers: the management is supposed to design and institutionalize organizational performance; develop more insight into best practice SCM to private organizations so as to enhance customer satisfaction; use other materials management practitioners as a model for conducting related researches; harmonize Procurement Act and its Regulations to include the supply chain management. This is because on the current practice the act is quite concerning the SCM.
