dc.description The main objective of the study was to review the factors affecting the level of investment on tourism accommodation facilities in Tanzania. A conceptual model of how independent variables such as Financial institution, land laws and political system help to influence greater development on investment in tourism accommodation facilities in Tanzania, as the dependent factor for the purpose of increasing level of investment in tourism accommodation facilities was developed and tested through a sample survey of 85 respondents in Dar es Salaam Region from different stakeholders. Data collected were presented in tables, charts and figures to emphasize and build clear understanding .Subsequently; this reduces the bulkiness of data being collected from the field. However, much data are presented on writings which is done clear and in deep without violating the real meaning to maintain authentic picture of the situation found in the field. The findings reveals that the Financial institutions i.e. Banks, MNRT, MIT, TTB, TIC, BRELA and Ministry of land, Housing and Settlement has made efforts about 80% to make sure that investments accommodation facilities in tourism sector was improved. These institutions has put more efforts on providing education and trainings on the importance of tourism activities and on how to conserve and develop different attractive features, also these institutions as provided loans to local indigenous in order to make sure that they get supports for creating different infrastructures such as hotels and lodges that are important for tourism sector development. Also in the researcher recommendations have been divided into three categories; Private sector, Non-Governmental organization and Government; All these tourism agencies helped to improve and accelerate changes in tourism sector. It is advisable that even the government parastatals or corporations or agency should invest much on the Tourism sector so as to improve the investments in tourism accommodation facilities. vii TABLE OF CONTENTS Pa
