Thus, these factors associated with the growth of betting industry specifically from 2012 to 2017 where there were rapid increases in betting activities as well as revenues. This research recommended that the government and private sector should create employment opportunities for the youths to protect them from engaging in betting activities. The government should review both the current laws and regulations to improve the protection of user rights and privileges, regulate advertisements, which influence or encourage the public to engage in betting activities but also educate the public and youth at large on effects of betting practices in the families and national level. The education on bettors can help them to bet responsibly. Betting laws should deliver protections to consumers.
