This paper discusses titled “The Analysis of Investigation of Traffic Offenses and Effectiveness of Law in Administration of Justice: Case study of Kibaha district” The research was guided by the following hypotheses; first, that the law governing investigation of traffic offences is ineffective in administration of justice. And the second, that people are unaware on the law governing investigation of traffic offences. And data were collected from primary and secondary methods of data collection.
The actual findings of the this research have revealed that laws governing investigation on traffic offences are effectives in the administration of justice, because they are trying to protect the interest of all persons or parties in the case, but the problem comes on the skills of investigation as per the requirement of the law, whereby many investigation officers lack such skills. Also on the other hand, people or victims of traffic offences are unaware on laws that governing investigation of traffic offences in Tanzania, this lack of awareness to people has been contributed by the authorities themselves by failure to distribute education to the societies.
Basing on the findings of this research, the work has tried to give out some recommendations which are to be done so as to make Tanzanian to be aware on the laws governing investigation of traffic offences also to make the law to be effectives. These recommendations are; that education concerning investigation of traffic offences must be given to all people i.e drivers, passengers, motorcyclists, bicyclists and pedestrians, also introduction of topics in school, it has been further suggested concerning traffic offences it is better to be included in secondary school and if possible also in primary school syllabus so that all people in all levels of education shall be imparted with such knowledge. And traffic offences investigators should be conducted strictly and serious enough when investigating traffic offences.
