The research study dealing on this research about on critical analysis for the derogation of women status in Tanzania reference to the inheritance laws, Tanzania. This study was conducted at the Ilala District Court and various areas such as Kinondoni, Posta in Dares Salaam Region. Whereby in this study involved 30 population sizes whereby the sample size included were advocates, magistrates, legal officer, court clerks, ordinary person. Sampling techniques used in the research were simple random sampling and purposive sampling. The data of this research report obtained by using questionnaire, interview and observation which were the tools of data collection that enable a researcher to collect data from respondents and secondary data documentary review was used to collect data through reviewing various written documents, books. The ethical issues were highly considered during the study so as to maintain confidentiality of participants. This study mainly focused on the examination on critical analysis for the derogation of women status in Tanzania with reference to the inheritance of laws, Tanzania. Derogation of women this not a new aspect it has been for years in our societies. This research studies comprises of four chapters. The first chapter is composed of statement of the problem, objective of the study, hypotheses, research methodology and literature review. The second chapter is composed of having the laws and institutional frame work that dealing law of inheritance in Tanzania. Third chapter is composed research finding from investigations and data from field and chapter five include conclusion and recommendations on what to be done in order for the derogation of women status in Tanzania to be improved with reference to inheritance. The study was conducted in reflection of the research questions based on perception which included identifying the reasons as to why women are deprived to get inheritance examining and how this affect their status in the society at Dares salaam region.
Therefore, the researcher of the report that, since the law enacted it is the exactly time for the parliament to amend patrilineal customary laws at large extent which discriminate the right of inheritance by women which concur new social changes |
