Precisely this project introduces the process of creating online field management system which is a data-driven web design which will be used to manage students to their field area. In this system it will deals with manipulation an information system of online field Management System for students at Mzumbe, the designed system will capture, transmit, store, retrieve, to manipulate and or display information used during conducting field session. Information system can be categories into geographic information systems, library information systems, learning information systems, enterprise information systems and management information systems. In this project we will discuss one of the categories of information system which is management information system but we will only base on online field Management system which is the most common use of Information System for field management system in different areas.
This system will contain features which are like facility of student login and a facility of System Administrator and Supervisors. Users will be given logon name and pass word so that they can log-in to the database system. Overall goal of field practical training is to get the field experience to depend professional education. It brings theory of the students to apply knowledge concept and skills in real working. The Student Field Information Management System is going to be developed by using PHP serving as Server-side script also JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Bootstrap framework as the Front-end interface, for users to interact with system.
Currently many Universities are facing challenges on Field information management where the University is using manual and signing sheets to manage Field records information where these recording books or paper can be easily misplaced or being damaged as long as they have been in use for a long time. Since, many University operations switched to digital, this marks the necessity for Mzumbe Organization to transform their mode of operation from analog to digital in managing Field information in order to have assurance of availability and security of Field information which will be kept on Mzumbe Field Information Management System. |
