Chapter two is generally an overview of the Tanzania citizenship act and its provision on conferring of citizenship. This chapter also includes the position of the constitution of Tanzania and international covenants on the discrimination on the basis of sex. It also looks into the extent and effect of the discriminatory provision of law.
