dc.description This study is to make an assessment of government powers to compulsorily acquire land in Tanzania; the work is solely on the theoretical assessment of the government power while acquire land from the citizen for the public interest and its conclusion is based on that. Chapter one as introduction which the research based on the general overview what the research discussed various issued there are historical back ground of land acquisition in Tanzania since colonial period up to independence, the assumption based on the public power to acquire land from the occupier are misuse by the government, objectives of this research base on to examine on whether the government power for the acquire land for public are observed the law, important of the research is to give the exposure of on how the government misuse its power to acquire land. Chapter two of the research based on general concept of land, human right and compulsory in relation to property , acquisition of land and the right to property and compensation land acquisition which provided in constitution of united republic if Tanzania under article 24 (1). This chapter made to lay down an understanding on the term land, other meaning relating to the land acquisition in Tanzania. Chapter three shows the based general legal frame work on compulsory land acquisition in Tanzania like constitution, land act, land acquisition, and others. Chapter four mainly concerned with giving out the theoretical information of collected data from in depth and critical analysis of the government power to acquire land in Tanzania, researcher obtained the information from the different expert and academia of land laws, these experts are magistrate academia and the victims citizen. and the conclusion in this chapter it Cleary shown the that government compulsory land acquisition power in Tanzania does not property observed and followed as laws stipulated. Last chapter five give summary to all chapter discussed in prevision could be analyzed due hereafter the chapter has be three important things which are conclusion, and general observation and recommendation thereto. Under the conclusion the researcher is finalize the content of these research in general, while undergo general observations, the research is give out what he observed on the subject matter of study, and the lastly to give the opinion on or suggestion where as hereafter to be termed as a recommendation. Therefore the end the research is provided the solution that the government should be given the compensation in fair balance, to follow the procedure and balance between individual interest on land that of the state.
