A Compulsory Research Report Submitted in Partial Fulfillment of the Requirements for the Award of the Bachelor of Law (LLB) Degree of Mzumbe UniversityThe research report which has the title; The Right to Legal Representation: In Relation To the Transfer of Cases from Ward Tribunals to District Land and Housing Tribunals, the case study of Morogoro. The study demonstrates that, the uncertainty of law regard to the transfer of cases from Ward Tribunals to District Land and Housing Tribunals infringes the right to legal representation, where the legal Representation is fundamental right. But the litigants in Ward Tribunals facing the Problem of legal representation due to the uncertainty of laws and procedures of transfer of cases from WTs to DLHTs, and hence it impedes the dispensation of justice in civil suits, especially in the land disputes. Basing on the findings of the research, the researcher made some recommendations aimed at improving administration of Justice in Tanzania, through having the specific enabling provision regulating the transfer of cases from WTs to DLHTs.
