dc.description This study entitle as enforcement of environmental laws on the protections of environment in mining areas in Tanzania. environmental problems in mining areas in Tanzania are increasing despite of the existing environmental laws. The researcher research on how these laws can curb the environmental problems in mining areas. The researcher aim to examine enforcement of environment laws on the protection of mining areas in Tanzania; where under that aspect used specific objectives which aim To determine and analyze critically enforcement of environmental laws and protection of mining areas in Tanzania; also to research further reasons for poor and non enforcement of environmental laws in Tanzania; To find possible means of putting into practical enforcement mechanism of international environmental laws in Tanzania; To determine implementation of the best practice principle in environmental : the researcher employed the following methods of collecting information in order to fulfill his objective where uses primary data which includes close end questioner and interview and secondary data that involves internet,materials,books and other reports desertions research relating to laws which govern environment in mining areas Tanzania . The researchers find out that the law lack enabling provisions for enforcement of the laws. Lastly is the constitution which lack expressly provisions on environment. The researchers found out laws are ineffective to curb the environmental problems. This ineffectiveness of the laws is evidenced by increasing environmental degradation. the researcher found out that Tanzania does not enforce international laws on the protection of environment in mining areas. Researcher conclude that the existing mining and environmental laws are not effective on protection of environment, also there is failure of giving education to the public about environment laws .the researcher recommend that the existing environmental laws and mining laws should be amended in to include provision which will enable enforcement of environment laws and mining laws on the protection of environment in mining areas in Tanzania also there should be amend on the constitution to protect environment
