A research Report Submitted to Mzumbe University- Mbeya Campus in Partial/Fulfillment for the Award of the Bachelor Degree of Business Administration in Marketing (BBA) of Mzumbe UniversityThe aim of the study was to assess the impact of technology innovation on banking performance. The researcher uses case study research design that conducted at TPB, Dar es Salaam, Mlimani City. Data collected from 50 respondents who randomly selected. Both judgmental, cluster and simple random sampling techniques employed by the researcher to obtain respondents at the organization. In this study, the researcher uses different data collection methods such as interview, questionnaire and documentary review while the published financial statements for the bank were the main source of secondary data. Tables and figure are used to helps the presentation of the findings. Data from the field analyzed descriptively with the help of SPSS The study based on three objectives such as to identify how Automated Teller Machines contributes to the TPB bank performance, to determine how Mobile Banking contributes to the TPB bank performance and to examine how Internet Banking contributes to the TPB bank performance. The study established that the use of technology innovation through ATMs, internet banking and mobile banking has a positive significant relationship with operational performance of the TPB bank performance. The study recommends that banks can manage their costs better in continuing to invest in technology innovation as opposed to continued investment in manual branches. The internet and mobile channels can process a higher volume of transactions compared to the use of the conventional manual processes. The cost per unit in the digital platform minimized and this translates to better returns. Banks should therefore invest in maximization of the return benefits realized from digital channels such as mobile, ATMs and internet banking.
