dc.description The study provides the theoretical analysis of the mobilization of domestic tax revenue collection in Tanzania. The grounds of this investigation was to assess the mobilization of domestic tax revenue collection in Tanzania a case study is revenue authority Mbeya region and the fundamental target was to survey the collection of domestic tax revenue in Tanzania at TRA which is revenue authority in Tanzania. Coming up next were look into inquires intended to be replied over the span of leading this investigation; what are the initiatives set by TRA - Mbeya in mobilizing domestic tax revenue collection? , How is the trending level of success of TRA - Mbeya in mobilizing domestic tax revenue collection? , What are the challenges facing TRA - Mbeya in mobilizing domestic tax revenue collection? Review of relevant literature in chapter two recognized the meaning of tax, taxation, revenue and domestic taxes, empirical literature review definition and more explanation about tax, revenue and domestic taxes also different scholar explain the way and means of organizing and mobilizing taxes also the theories and the scope of the study Methodology in terms of design in this study presented in chapter three which tend to be used and focused much in case study. This study employed a mixed approach based on qualitative and quantitative research in social science to be applied in which includes 38 respondents in number as sample size. Sampling techniques used included probability and non-probability. Therefore in probability simple random sampling was used and in non-probability sampling purposive was used to investigate the study is Primary data which involves questionnaire and interview Chapter four provides research findings and analysis and discussion of findings the results where the findings are analyzed through Microsoft Excel Chapter five provides summary, conclusion as well as recommendations on tax collection and mobilization.
