dc.description The study was carried out in Tanzania Post Corporation, aims was to assess the contribution of employees training and development in the organization performance. The specific objectives were; to identify the availability of employee training and development in the organization, to identify the role of training and development of employee and to examine the factor that influence effective employee training and development in the organizations performance. The targeted population in the study was 14 but only 12 respondents’ responds to the study. Both primary and secondary data collection was used, such as questionnaire, observation interview and documentation used to collect data. The sampling techniques used to collect data were stratified, purposive and simple random techniques. Both qualitative and quantitative methods were used to analyze data from the respondents. The data processed and analyzed by using normal tables from Microsoft word. The data helped to get findings which provide relevant information to the employee training and development such as reduce the supervision, increase productivity, building good relationship among the employees as the role of training and development, top management support; technological changes as a factors influence effective training and development. The researcher identify that the management has to provide required good working environment and material to support employee training and development and the training should be according to the job performance. Doing that the management will enhance effective and efficiency of the organizational performance and will increase employee morale on performing the organizational jobs.
