dc.description This research assessed determinants for effective implementation of force account construction projects. The main aim of the study was to assess determinants for effective implementation of force account construction projects. The specific objective of this study was to assess impact of human resources on effective implementation of force account construction projects, to evaluate the influence financial resources on effective implementation of force account construction projects, to analyze impact of regulatory framework on effective implementation of force account construction projects, to assess the impact of supply chain management on effective implementation of force account procurement in construction projects. Study adopted peoples centered theory and Resource Based View (RBV) Study was conducted in Dar es Salaam. Study involved the use of descriptive research design and the use of simple random sampling and purposeful sampling technique was involved to select sample of 120 respondents. Data analysis process was carried out through the use of descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. In relation to first objective, the findings indicated that there was positive relationship between human resource and effective implementation of force account projects at significance level of 0.338. The results based on second objective showed that there was positive relationship between financial resources and effective implementation of force account projects at level significance level of 0.051. For the third objective the results revealed that regulatory framework has significant contribution to effective implementation of force account projects at significance level of 0.000 and for the final objective the results revealed that supply chain management has significant contribution to effective implementation of force account projects at significance level of 0.002. Study concluded out that human resource, financial resources, regulatory framework and supply chain management were important determinant for effective implementation of force account project. Study provided necessary recommendations to all important stake holders for taking necessary measure to improve procurement process under force account
