Today we live in an information society where more people have to manage more
information, which in turn requires more technological support, which demands and
creates more information. Electronic information and technology are mutually
reinforcing, and one of the key aspects of life in an information society is the everincreasing level of interaction with this increasingly complex and increasingly
electronic environment. The use of information technology has greatly impacted the
growth of business enterprises through effective business communication,
advertisement accessibility of commodities and services
Data of this study was obtained using secondary and primary data through
questionnaires and observation method of data collection and analyzed using a
quantitative method. Tables and charts are used to present the findings of study. The
sampling technique employed was non probabilistic sampling specifically
judgmental sampling to help get the needed information from the intended group of
people. The study established that information accessibility was among the factors
that greatly affected the business growth. The study has revealed that due to the
advancement of information technology and massive information accessibility there
is a huge utilization of information that is integral part in the successful business
premises. The use of social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and
Whatsapp has become rampant in conducting business through the spread of business
information to various users. The business information spread are of a great value
and potential in the value chain of the various products and services that has
impacted the increase of sales and expansion of market and the business growth
management. The study finally recommended that the company should incorporate
updated and most effective information technology in all its departments especially
marketing in business operation strategy management.
