The main aim of this study is to investigate about the effectiveness of using eprocurement
in
local
government
authority
in
Tanzania.
The study was qualitative and quantitative in nature and it was conducted in Lindi
District Council.
Chapter one of this study is based on the process which attributes the initiation of the
study.
Chapter two is based on the literature review. So here we look at the variables and
other documentary material published in the past days.
Chapter three is based on research methodology. Here we look aspects of research
design, study area, study population, sampling, data collection methods, data
collection instruments.
Chapter four contains presentation of results according to the findings on the
research questions. It gives summary of selected statistics for comparison purpose on
implementation of e-procurement in Local Government Authority in Tanzania.
Chapter five lays down the discussion of findings, it provides comprehensive
discussion of result of findings obtained in chapter four.
Chapter six presents the summary, conclusion and recommendation concerning the
effectiveness of e-procurement in Local Government Authority in Tanzania.
