dc.description This dissertation examined the results of the descriptive research on bases of the effect of entrepreneurial training in the propensity of investing on the businesses carrier development. Given the increase of small and medium entrepreneurship the business started upon the expansion of entrepreneurial activities that both men and women had been involving in so as to backup themselves as a catalyst for economic growth, poverty eradication and people empowerment as the targeted a strategy toward self employments in business acumen of their destiny. Initially the entrepreneurial business was conducted in such a way of traditional style, currently entrepreneurial training had opened a new mind through training helped to empower trader up on creating more jobs and opportunities, however still there are few Small and medium scale enterprises which attended the entrepreneurial training at SIDO while others majority are conducting business traditionally thus find them self in failure to plan their business and difficult to source new opportunities. The purpose of this research was to investigate the weight of the entrepreneurial training among the individual characteristics of Small and Medium Scale Enterprises and the personal contextual variables to measure its effect among those conducting businesses in respect of entrepreneurial training as education and skills acquired from SIDO and the general results after fully utilizing those skills to perform entrepreneurial activities with the aim of increasing sales of their products. The study used interviews and questionnaires as methods of collecting primary data. Secondary data was collected by reviewing various reports and other written texts. Both qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques such as the use of numerical and descriptive in nature were used to analyze data. The study established the general profile xv of the respondents who were used to analyze data that made study objectives and research questions used to derive more information’s for the study that measured the level of performance in relation with the Skills competences among SMSE’s who attended the entrepreneurial training from SIDO. Therefore, the study concluded by making recommendation to identify the effect and challenges faced SMSE’s and suggested the areas for further Research in a manner of the entrepreneurial business ideology to be materialized.
