The main objective of the study is to identify the contribution of financial statements for decision
making in an organization, namely Public Service Pensions Fund (PSPF) as a case study.
This research paper consists of five chapters. The First chapter contains an introduction which is
the background of the Study, objectives of the study, research questions, statement of the
problem, significance of the study, scope and limitation of the study and conceptual frame work.
Chapter Two comprises of the Review of the Related Literature where it gives a critical detail on
theoretical arguments which have been brought by different thinkers, also tells what other writers
and researchers have discussed about the contribution of financial statements for decision
making. Also the study has shown the missing gap.
Chapter Three consists of the research methodology used to accomplish this study. Several
methods of data collection were used and these include questionnaires, observation and
documentary review. The study also used quota, purposive sampling and the sample size had 250
respondents. Both qualitative and quantitative methods were used.
Chapter four presents and analyses the research findings of the data collected, where the
numerical data was presented using tables and the description was given on the non numerical
data.
Chapter five consists of the conclusion and recommendations to the problem discussed.
