Student Academic Information System (SAIS) is a system for collecting, storing, and processing students’ data and for storing student’s information from time of student’s admission to the time of graduation, and thereafter for easy access when required.
The Student Academic Information System (SAIS) is one of the key systems for easing the management and development of Higher Education Institutions as it is a facility in academic processes as well as other academic tasks.
User satisfaction with Student Academic Information System (SAIS) is significant key indicator of SAIS success as users are important stakeholders of any information system and their satisfaction with the system is one the key indicator of the system success
This study aims at assessing users’ satisfaction on using SAIS. The study examines from the users how the system is useful (improving job performance, enhancing job effectiveness and making job easier). Also how is it easy to use (simple to use, ease to interact with, its flexibility and easiness to recovery from mistakes) and the level of their satisfaction with the system (works the way they want, fun to use it, recommend to a friend).
Findings of the study suggest that there are factors affection users’ satisfaction as the significant percentage in perceived usefulness, ease of use and system satisfaction is reported. The users report the number of factors in system characteristics and their recommendations toward improvement are given. |
