dc.description The purpose of this study was to assess the effectiveness of the provision of secondary school Reproductive health Education in Mwanza region. The study was conducted in Nyamagana district. Across sectional research design was used to collect information within a short period of time from secondary school students. The study used hypotheses with 95% as the level of significance. However, the Z-test was used to make the comparison of respondents regarding the impacts of the provision of secondary school reproductive health education and the ways of the provision of RHE. The population sample consisted of 251 respondents. These were secondary school students specifically from Nyamagana district. The sampled schools included: Nganza, Nsumba, Mwanza, Pamba, Nyabulogoya and St. Marys Nyegezi seminary. SPSS program was used to analyze the field information obtained The findings of the study revealed that there is partial provision of RHE to secondary school students leading to adverse action of lack of RHE. Furthermore, the findings revealed that pressing Reproductive health education in secondary school curriculum as a dependent subject will help the secondary school students to have a comprehensive Reproductive Health Education for the future benefits of Tanzania. It is recommended that: In order to alleviate ineffectiveness in the provision of secondary school reproductive health in Mwanza region, the Government should improve the inputs, processes for good outputs of Reproductive health education system. The study concludes that the government should insist the curriculum developers to press reproductive health education in secondary school curriculum as a dependant subject that will make the secondary school Reproductive Health Education effective for enhancing behavioral change to secondary school students.
