Communication has been observed and realized as a central organizational process,
which lead to performance, motivation, personality and personal development in the
working place. It was discovered that communication in an organization is of great
need for any organisation to perform its targeted objectives. This study attempts to
examine the functions of teamwork communication in achieving organisational
objectives. A researcher employed the mixed research approaches that were
qualitative and quantitative. Data were collected through questionnaires and
interviews were conducted to the sampled heads of secondary school. In this study a
researcher sampled 100 respondents from 4 government secondary schools in Magu
district.
The study was guided by three objectives, generally a researcher discovered that in
schools there were no teamwork communication because the researched population
advocated that there were no togetherness between subordinates and top
managements within an organization. The findings show that within school
organizations team members lack motivation, lack unity among themselves and
they have no enough knowledge as far as teamwork communication is concerned.
In this study a researcher gave various recommendations that for a teamwork
communication to function effectively it was advised to set goals and objectives in a
mutual cooperation with top management and their subordinates should participate
fully in goals and objectives settings not only that but also a researcher
recommended that for the betterment of teamwork communication to function well
there should be tendency of top management to settle down antagonistic
relationships that rises within members of school organisation and being
