dc.description The study about “The impact of vocational education in secondary schools upon youth employability in Tanzania” is traced back as the development of man and as a result of Education for self reliance (ESR) policy of 1967 and its impact to the society. Many societies prepares their youth through practical teaching. Various literature has been showing the theoretical and empirical evidences about vocational studies onto a formal schooling. For instance, theories like Human Resource Development Approach (HRDA), Manpower requirement approach (MRA) and Social demand approach (SDA) have been talked over and given much emphasize toward the subject. A sample of one hundred (100) respondents selected using a non probability sampling by which quota sampling and snowballing was involved. Teachers, Students, and ex-students of vocational education are the population of the study. The researcher used mixed method research specifically explanatory research design which was used in data recording and analysis. Thus, quantitative data and qualitative data were gathered, put down and analyzed the same. Vocational education in its perspectives has paramount action toward the human development in the social and economic aspect. The social and economic aspect has been discussed in his research work thus enabled the researcher to formulate vocational diversification policy (VDP), vocational education for further development philosophy (VEFFCDP) and skills employment theory (SET) to man foster human development.
