The purpose of this study was to examine the typology factors which are influencing students’ attitudes towards Science and Technology subjects. The study was guided by the specific objectives which are social factors, science teachers and school administration and the National influence of students’ attitudes towards science and technology subjects. In Nzega district, there are over 42 secondary schools. They are categorized as community schools, and private ownership schools. The method used in this study was that of a descriptive survey research approach. The study was conducted in Nzega district, Tabora region, Tanzania and involved five community secondary schools. The total number of students in the five sampled schools was one hundred (100) which are in form three and form four. The science teachers in these schools were ten (10), five (5) heads of school and one district education officer. The purposive sampling was used to select 100 (1.02 %) students out of 9809. The sample size for the study was hundreds100 (1.02%) students, ten (10) science teachers, five (5) heads of school and one district education officer. It is from these data will be analyzed. The data for this study was collected using questionnaires and structured interview. Students and science teachers were given questionnaires where the heads of school and a district education officer were given an interview in depth so as to obtain more information. The findings were presented in summary using frequency distribution tables/bar charts, pie charts and histograms. The study found that students desired to study science and technology subjects if there is availability of science teachers, functional laboratories, science equipments and conducive environments in schools.
