dc.description	This research presents the simple outline of the study regarding the key effects of political. Conflict in Zanzibar prior to establishment of the Government of National Unity. The study mainly focuses on finding out the key factors of political conflict in Zanzibar which contributed to the formation of the government of National Unity in Zanzibar, and it will analyze the impact of political conflict on political, social and economic to the people of Zanzibar. The study employed various methodologies. This includes qualitative and quantitative research strategies, cross-sectional type of research design, observation and interviews. The sample random sampling, sample size and purposive sampling procedures was employed where a total of 100 respondents from politicians, member of political parties, community leaders and community members were involved. The findings from this research is expected to contribute towards building body of knowledge and experiences of various issues concerning with political conflict also to plan , coping strategies and awareness on understanding the effects of political conflict to the people of Tanzania Zanzibar. However the study will suggest the meaningful procedure to avoid political conflict to the people of Zanzibar.
