dc.description Over the last few years, there has been mounting concern about the possibility of adverse health effects resulting from exposure to radio-frequency electromagnetic fields. Such emissions from wireless communication devices like mobile phones. Since then, researchers, scientists, and other professionals have issued many reports that prove either a correlation between radiations emitted by mobile phones and health related hazards (cancer, reproduction, car accidents etc) exists or does not exist. Many researchers have determined that the evidence is controversial, the current data is not persuasive, and the field is too current. Even the representatives from World Health Organization do not declare that mobile phones are safe. They say there is inconclusive evidence and that more research is needed. It is the aim of this research to investigate the truth from those myths. Firstly it determines people awareness on the matter concerned. People awareness seemed to be not sufficient enough for them to protect themselves. Moreover this research work provides indepth analysis based on previous research works on the correlation between mobile phones Electro-Magnetic Radiations (EMR) and possible health hazards. The conclusion is that people are worried that the information about the said relation told by various studies is not true. It has been concluded that funders of those studies have their hands in the outcome of many of the researches. There is a significant possibility that biasness exists. In the long run, these mobile phones EMR will have health effects on users especially children although they have not yet being proven among Tanzanians. This research work ended with providing technological and social drivers which can be used to improve the awareness zeal among Tanzanians.
