dc.description This study analyzes “Violation of Rights of a Child in Education in Government Primary Schools in Dodoma Municipality”. A sample of 100 respondents was used and these were randomly obtained from selected five government primary schools in Dodoma Municipality. The methods used in data collection were interviews, questionnaire, and documentary review the statistical package for social science (SPSS) was used for management of data and analysis. In this study the theories pertaining to Rights of a child in education was established to familiarize the reader with paradigms, frameworks and approaches in the field of Rights of a child in education. The study reveals that there is a highly violation of Rights of a child in education caused by lack of text books, chairs, enough teachers, poor motivation of teachers and poor cooperation between teachers, pupils and parents which led to sitting down of pupils in the classes, Early marriages, poor performance, increase dependents at family level and failure of many pupils to know how to read and write when they finish standard seven. This has been due to the lack of enough funds and parents willingness which contributes to the poverty, inadequate number of teachers in primary schools and insufficient teaching materials. Eventually, this scientific analysis recommends that in order to ensure that there is implementation of Rights of a child in education in government primary schools there is a need to improve the commitment of the government in investing in primary Education. There is a need to provide knowledge to communities on the important of participating in the whole system of investing in primary education for the betterment of Child Rights in education in government primary schools in Tanzania.
