dc.description This study entitled factors Influencing Youths Unemployment in Dodoma Urban District Tanzania. Three Wards of Makole, Chamwino and Kikuyu with their street were selected. Data were collected using questionnaires and interviews. Seventy eight (78) respondents were involved in the study. Data were analyzed by using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) software version 16 and other qualitative technique. Findings from this study have revealed that, (100%) of respondents were aware on Factors Influencing Youths Unemployment. Youths perceived that, employment to youth was significant in improving profitable life. There was a need, for structural reforms to improve functioning of the cooperatives and for ensuring greater efficiency and viability. There is a need for the government, to empower youths to take advantage of the opportunities by opening up both market forces in the domestic and international markets economies, through agricultural system. There was a need to establish centers of entrepreneurial production in every area, of which might be used as the focal point for cooperation and coordination, among the youths to force them working around the center. The problems are no longer related to youth but rather to policy makers and government at large, on the one hand and education for sustainable production on the other. Dodoma district youth still faced major constraint, suffer from unemployment and instability in funds and are highly risked averse. They are constrained in the production process, by the lack of access to inputs technology credit and markets.
