dc.description This study was set out to explore the impact of public-private partnership on health services delivery in Tanzania. There is a smooth relationship between public and private sector on provision of social services in Tanzania. This study reveals the extent in which public-private partnership has managed to achieve in the provision of health services to the people especially of Arusha District. A sample of 80 respondents was taken and these were public and private officials, specialist medical officers, youth groups and outpatient department from the area of study. The study employed data collection methods such as interview questionnaire, survey and observation. The statistical package for social science (SPSS) was used for management of data analysis. And the findings showed that, there is negative and positive impact of partnership in health services delivery. The study showed how the public-private partnership has originated, focuses on its role, implementation and its performance of the partnership in reaching the targeted population. Therefore, it recommends that the government should provide real support to the private sector with clear budget, human resource capacity and demonstrate trust and transparency in promoting and improving health services delivery in Tanzania.
