| dc.description | This dissertation report is a partial fulfillment for the award of Masters degree in Cooperate Management at Mzumbe University. The purpose of this study was to assess the impact of harmonization of Local Government Sources of revenue. The area of study was Kinondoni Municipal Council (KMC). The research design was a case study. The researcher selected this type of study simply because of its convenience that it was limited to a specific context, area and it had to cost less in terms of funds and time. The task of collecting data included questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentary survey. The dissertation report comprises five chapters whereby the researcher in Chapter one explains about an introduction and background to the problem, background of KMC, Statement of the problem, research objectives, research questions, significance of the study, and limitation of the study and delimitation of the study. Chapter two contains the literature review where the researcher explains the ideas of other authors about what they said concerning the topic, empirical literature where it explains about what other researchers have said regarding the topic in question and research gap which explain what was not covered by other researchers in the empirical literature. Chapter three contains the research methodology which describes the area of research conducted and the research design that was used by the researcher. It also portrays the research method and the procedures which was used to get data in order to get the meaningful discussion about the topic. Chapter four contains data presentation, analysis and discussion where the researcher discusses about the research findings found from the field and in chapter five, there is a summary, conclusion and recommendations whereby the researcher explains briefly about the research topic and its findings which also provides the outcome of the research topic and the recommendations of the researcher as per the whole research. | |
