The study on the assessment of the impact of Organizational Culture on Employee‘s Performance in the Banking Industry, The case of National Bank of Commerce (NBC). The sample size of this study constituted 60 respondents of which 15 respondents were HR Managers at the different branches; the other 45 respondents were officers/staff at the different branches. The general objective of the study was to investigate on how employees perceive organisational culture in work organisations and specific objectives were to explore employees‘ perception of organization culture, to investigate on organization perception towards organization culture and to examine the relationship of employees and organization culture. These guided the whole flow of the study as evidenced in the theoretical, empirical literature review and findings of the study. Case study research design of descriptive nature was used in undertaking this research work. Both primary and secondary data were employed as they did help to triangulate the findings. The study employed questionnaires, interviews and documentary review as the data collection methods while data analysis was by the use of Scientific Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). The findings revealed that organisational culture is very important in every organization and that it has a positive impact on employee performance. In addition to that, organisational culture affects the level of organisational productivity in a positive way. This study shows there is a positive relationship between organizational culture and employee productivity at NBC. It was thus recommended that HRM should consider the importance of organisation culture as this will help in setting policies that will not contradict the culture of the organization plus helping the incoming employees to adjust without any problem.
