In the District Court of Mpanda, the appellant EXAUD NYALI and one ZAKAYO ANGOUFON (the 2nd accused) were jointlv charged with armed robbery contrary to section 287 A of the Penal Code [CAP 16 RE.2002]. As the 2nd accused was still at large, on 15/6/2012 the charge was read over to the appellant and preliminary hearing conducted on 28/06/2012. Following the arrest of the 2nd accused his plea was not taken.
