| dc.description | In the District Court of Lushoto at tushoto, the appellant was I charged with the offence of rape contrary to sections 130(2) (e) and 131(A) (1) of the Penal Code as amended by sections 5 and 6 of the Sexual Offences (Special Provisions) Act, No.4 of 1998. He was convicted and sentenced to a term of thirty years imprisonment. Aggrieved by the conviction and sentence, he appealed to the High Court but his appeal was dismissed. Still protesting his innocence; the appellant is before the Court with this second appeal. | |
