The pace of technology has led to employee’s skill improvement through training programmes in the sector of logistics and transportation. Therefore, the general objective was to investigate the impact of in-house training programmes on staff performance of TICTS. Specific objectives were to determine the benefits associated with in-house training programmes implemented by management to the staff of TICTS, ascertaining the performance changes brought by the implementation of inhouse training programmes to the staff of TICTS as well as assessing the effectiveness of In-house training programs at TICTS. The study employed the case study research design, which was TICTS involving the sample size of 100 respondents involving both the non-managerial and managerial employees who were both obtained through the purposive and simple random sampling techniques. Both interview and questionnaires were used as the data collection tools. The research revealed that in-house training programmes improve staff performance. Most of the respondents agreed that in-house training programmes have improved the way staffs are performing their duties thus, in-house training programmes are very effective towards ensuring positive performance change. The research recommends for the improvement of the in-house training programmes and making sure employees participating in the in-house training programmes are provided with the motivation incentives.
