of the organization. Specific objectives addressed the following aspects: types,
methods and techniques of management control tools that are used by the
organization, factors behind failure of management control system within
organization and exploration of appropriate and sustainable control tools to be
introduced in organization that suits prevailing situation.
Both theoretical and empirical review of literature was covered. Judgmental or
purposive sampling and simple random sampling were used to select the required
sample from the population. A total of 94 respondents participated in the study.
Under the study, challenges encountered are such as; some of the top management
people lack trust and confidence in the abilities of other employees or their
subordinates. Also management team tends to simplify problems as being
technologically oriented.
To eliminate challenges and threats, study suggests some measures to be taken such
as employing more qualified personnel. Basing on study findings, it has been
concluded that; although there are factors affecting the MCS and has its negative
side, management control system in the airline has a lot of contribution generally.
