ICT plays a big part in influencing the performance of import business in the country. There are some challenges which hinder the application of ICT including budgetary, time and infrastructure. In other words training and working facilities such as computers are what will facilitate effective ICT application. The study recommended that Tanzania Revenue Authority should make sure that the change in technology employed by the organization is familiarized to clearing and forwarding agencies as well as the whole Tanzania society.
