This study has been conducted specifically to assess the impact of employees’ motivation on organization’s performance in banking industry in Tanzania. The study specifically assessed the impact of employees’ motivation on the performance in CRDB Bank as one of the entities in the banking sector in Tanzania. The study was mainly guided by three predictors to the organization performance as the dependent variable which are financial incentives, compensation benefits and recognition of employees. It used a case study design and was conducted at CRDB Bank, Mlimani City Branch. The study generated data through structured questionnaire from the employees, specifically from the sample of 30 respondents. The collected information from the field was all gathered and computed in SPSS data sheet to generate statistics relevant to the present study findings in ensuring knowledge gap filling. In that regard, descriptive statistics specifically frequency tables and percentages were first articulated to describe the profile of the respondents. Moreover, correlation and multiple regression analysis was performed to describe the pattern of the relationship between study variables. Findings indicated that all three study predicting variables, namely financial rewards, compensation benefits and recognition of employees are positive and significant statistically on the organization’s performance. The implication of the findings is that organization performance in CRDB Bank through employees’ motivation is influenced by the three variables. The study therefore recommends that motivation in CRDB must be perpetually practiced and up to dated social and economic changes since it has been playing vital role in fostering performance in the organization. It is suggested therefore that similar studied should be done this time focusing public banks. Also others may conduct a similar study but using qualitative approach |
