This study specifically based on the role of Mobile Banking in banking industry.
Data was collected through questionnaires with focus on the mobile banking;
Adescriptivecross-sectionalresearchdesignwasemployedusingbothqualitativeand
quantitative approaches. The study was brands use of questionnaire with structured
and open-ended questions. Multi-stage and stratified sampling techniques was used
for research sampling. Data collected from different institutions like BOT,
commercial banks, MNOs, bank and MNO customers, mobile agents, and processed
using the software package (SPSS) in which descriptive statistics methods such as
frequencies and mean was used.
The results from the study revealed that if there is a relative role played by the adoption of
mobile banking including time, place independence, availability, and possibilities
for remote transfer and queue avoidance and there was be a consideration on changes
in banking service delivery. Further, the study brought recommendation on how to
make the service effective |
