This study assessed the factors affecting compliance to procurement record and documentation in public sector, the case study at MNH-Mloganzila. Specifically, researcher interested to explore influence of record whole life cycles in compliance with procurement record keeping. Secondly to identify the influence of professionalism in compliance with procurement record keeping and thirdly, to identify the influence of record keeping facilities in compliance with procurement record keeping. The research methodology used in this study included data collection technique both primary (questionnaire, interview,) and secondary data collection (books, journal, and internet search engine). Judgmental sampling was used in this study. Case study research was designed to allow the researcher to collect information from one organization because the study intended to assess factors affecting compliance to procurement record and documentation. The study conducted at Muhimbili National Hospital Mloganzila and 30 respondents participated.
Findings of the study revealed that procurement record whole life cycle through considering creation of records; maintenance and preservation of record indicate that is one among of the factors affecting compliance to procurement record and documentation with mean value. On procurement, record facilities with defined variables as e-record, space, were among of the factors affecting procurement record and documentation in public sector. Though professionalism procurement training, Procurement seminars, Accurate record) seen to be among of professional factors affecting compliance to procurement record and documentation in public sector.
