The study was attempt to investigate effectiveness of training needs assessment on the organization performance at the NSSF ilala Mafao House. The following were specific objectives as first to determine the perception of employees on the practice of training in NSSF second to identify strategies employed by the NSSF management to assess training needs third to assess the obstacles faced by the NSSF management when assessing training needs and to determine ways which are used to eliminates obstacles faced by the NSSF Management when assessing training need.
A sample size of 66 respondents has been used and given the questionnaires as consisted Managers, Assistant Managers and officers. The literature was significantly reviewed by means of the researcher. The research design used by this study was the case study research design because it simple and consume little time. The sampling technique used on the study was the purposive sampling and simple random sampling technique. Data collection devices used was questionnaires and documentary overview schedule.
The findings addressed that the effectiveness of training needs assessment is prerequisite for an effective training that helps for organizational growth and development. Its plays a huge section in influencing the overall performance of the organization.
There are some challenges which avoid the technique which includes budgetary, time, inadequacy of skill service delivered in which the gap between planned activities and sources production is usually huge and rapid change in technology which does not match with the financial ability. The learn more recommended that National Social Security Fund ilala mafao house must make sure that the cause of Effectiveness Assessing Training Need is to enhance understanding and skills of its staff, to bridge up the overall performance gap and to exchange attitudes toward the work. |
