The belief of the researcher is that when the law has been enacted by the parliament of Tanzania or any other agencies it has to be implemented or enforced. The research conducted in relation to the Assessment of law and practice relating to the using of cigarettes, whereby the statement of problem was that the law stipulated clear the special areas which the smokers of cigarettes are allowed to use it and also it set the penalty for the breach of the law but unfortunately the said law is never enforced.
Due to this one among of the objective were to look the efficiency of the Tobacco Products (Regulation) Act No 2, 2003 towards non-user of cigarettes. Hence in order to accomplish the intended objective this research comprises with five chapter, where by chapter one covers the general introduction of research, chapter two involve the conceptual framework in relation to the study, chapter three covers the legal framework of the statement of the problem, whereas chapter four includes the finding which are collected from different respondent that are part and parcel to the study and last chapter Five covers the conclusion and Recommendations by relying on findings adduced in chapter four.
In collecting data a researcher use interview, questionnaires method, observation and documentary review to accomplish the goals were generally the researcher enables to collect relevant data in relation to the study and came to realize that there is no efficiency on the law relating to the use of cigarettes in prohibited area this is so because the law is not implemented at all. |
