much on closed ended questionnaires. The researcher used statistical package for
social science (SPSS) as analytical tool. First objective was analyzed using graphical
method (descriptive analysis). Second objective was analyzed using factor extraction
and regression model (inferential statistics). Third objective was analyzed using chisquare test (inferential statistics). The findings revealed that there was strong positive
correlation of 79% in between dependent and independent variables. The independent
variables which significantly affected the establishment of chicken feathers
byproducts were poultry education and ministry of livestock and fishery compared to

production; aircraft uses; bio-diesel production; bio-plastic production; paper
production; biopolymer soil stabilization and mattress production. Recommendations
to the research topic were; chicken feathers to be regarded as valuable resources for
extraction of fibers for conversion into fabric and composite material, rather than
petroleum based raw materials which were non-renewable. Extensive research and
development work is required to develop appropriate technologies for their full
utilization as a source of some of the proposed applications mentioned in this review.
