Financial inclusion is a sector that is currently drawing attention of many scholars. The study was conducted in two districts of Dodoma region in Tanzania namely Kongwa and Chamwino. A total number of 314 respondents were involved. Exploratory and descriptive research design were employed and two data collection tools namely questionnaires and interview guide were used. Results revealed that most of people have an understanding on financial inclusion and also these services are significantly accessible and affordable to the community (p<0.05 at 5% level of significant). The study also found out that financial inclusion has influence in secondary school education development since the services are accessible and available. The implication of these findings is that there is contribution of financial inclusion services either direct or indirect to the development of secondary school education development as p<0.05 in all findings. Based on the findings, the study concludes that there is positive contribution of financial inclusion into the development of secondary education and also it recommends that financial inclusion service providers should extend further their services to rural areas and lower the cost of services so that it will bring more positive impact to the community hence secondary schools. |
