Therefore it is essential for the organization to have the knowledge about what motivates and satisfies the employees so as to generate such organization commitment in them. Aim of the study was to find out the motivation strategies which motivate the employees and to analyze employees respond towards those strategies and also to find out if there are barriers towards employees’ motivation and how to overcome them. The information was collected at Geological Survey of Tanzania.
