This study deliberate planned to assess Job Satisfaction of Employees in Atlas Copco (T) Company. The study focused on the relative importance of job satisfaction factors and their impacts on the overall job satisfaction of employees. It also investigated the impacts of, work experience, age, and sex differences on the attitudes toward job Satisfaction.
For the purpose of carrying out this study, the researcher used diverse methods to gather the data for this study. As it required, she came up with reviewing literatures, which highlighting the theme of this study. She reviewed books, journals and other related articles to have a basis of her literature review. Moreover, the researcher analysed the methodologies to conduct this study, and ultimately opted for questionnaire and in-depth interview as her mainly methodologies of data findings, however, she solemnly used a document review to supplement them.
The study found that at Atlas Copco (T) Ltd many employees tend to have their own perception about job satisfaction, in terms of working conditions, pay and promotions, job security, and relationship with co-workers, it was that the level of employee job satisfaction is “neither happy nor unhappy’ and in terms of relationship with immediate supervisor is “somewhat unhappy’ Many of the factors for job satisfaction if not well treated lead to job dissatisfaction. However, the study found that if not treated well employees confirmed that they might end up with job dissatisfaction.
It is concluded that Atlas Copco (T) Company should create a favourable work conditions for the company that will enhance and guide the employee to communicate effectively, build a good interpersonal environment within the company, in order to create good working conditions to keep their working morale up and eventually will increase their job satisfaction. Moreover, the study recommends that the Atlas Copco (T) Company should treat the employees with fairness; as a matter of fact that fairness is a key factor that affecting job satisfaction. The study considers that this fairness can increase the organizational performance.
