dc.description Dissertation (MA Education)
dc.description My first and foremost gratitude are due to the Almighty God, the source and owner of my life, without whom the dream for pursuing this education level would have been impossible. Alsofrom deep down of my heart, special thanks are due to my supervisor, Prof. W. L. M. Komba for guiding the entire processes of this study. Prof. gave me very constructive comments, guidance and encouragement which helped completion of this report. He showed me that whatever I desire, believe in and pursue with love, joy and determination it is possible to achieve. Moreover, my sincere thanks are due to school inspectors, head teachers, and teachers in all visited secondary schools for the cooperation and support accorded to me. They willingly gave me essential and valuable information needed for my study. I thank Mr. Bakar Mjaka, Mr. Ayoub Said and Mr. Said Othman for their assistance and encouragement particularly during the early time of this work. I am very grateful to my lovely parents namely my late father, Mr. Said Omar and my late mother, Mrs. Time Salum, who gave me the discipline that had always been the ladder to my academic excellence. Through them, I have learned what life is, and as it is my perpetual duty, I pray to them. My deep gratitude goes to my lovely wife, Mrs.Isha A. Haji, for her love, encouragement, tolerance, moral and financial supports as well as company and assistance during the whole process of accomplishing this work. May God bless her abundantly. I also acknowledge the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training in Zanzibar for granting me a study leave to pursue my master degree. I would also like to thank all my classmates (Master of Arts in Education, 2014/2016cohort), for their good cooperation during our studies, especially in the classroom presentations and discussions. Specifically, I would like to thank Simai, Bakar, Kalyoma, Shemsanga, and Aroko, with whom we studied together and subsequently made me socially very rich. I thank you all. However, I remain solely responsible for any shortcomings embedded in this work.
